in-demand ! Vintage art deco red beaded antique purse with silk lining and silver frame

This is a gorgeous antique ruby red beaded art deco purse from circa 1920’s. This Antique handmade purse is in fabulous condition and an elegant addition to any collection of vintage purses and display pieces.

Silver frame has a kiss ball clasp that easily snaps shut/open, in superb condition. Silver tone frame has a attractive patina! The silk lining within the purse has become worn & frayed from age (please see pictures). Please note on the interior clasp has a flower designed “ribbon” material used to sew the beaded bag of the purse to the frame. This is an indicator of antique design.

Overall length of purse from top of chain to bottom of purse measures 12 inches. Width is 4 1/2 inches. The entire length of the bottom has 50-60 1 inch beaded “loops” for extra flare & style! Purse weighs about 8 ounces.

This purse would make a superb addition to any collection of vintage art deco pieces & hand bags to display or wear for an elegant look. Either way this is a sure conversation piece!!
